The everyday life of a paramedic is neither comparable to any TV-Shows or “documentaries”, nor to the displayed heroism in movies. Intermedic keeps a certain distance to the biased and prettied presentment, especially since the medical treatment and the rescue operations are presented unprofessionally.

However, Intermedic supports film producers who ask for the realistic portrayal of emergency operations.  Also sheer artistic or cultural projects, which are obviously not referring to reality, get our support.

As a result, the Team of Intermedic gets a steady impression of a completely different hard and challenging working environment.

So far, the most elaborating participation was the movie <Spital in Angst>, which has been shown by the stations SF DRS, ZDF and ORF. The film is a suspenseful crime thriller and enlists a substantial share of the Intermedic vehicles. In the end of the movie a terrorist quits his kidnapping odyssey by blasting himself and his victim, sitting in an Intermedic ambulance.
